RFE stands for rear wheel drive, fully electronic.

The 45RFE / 545RFE Alto Red Eagle master rebuild kits should be ready by 8-1-2008. This kit will have four Power Packs, overdrive, underdrive, forth and second. This is only an estimated date.

The Ram 45 transmission comes with a high performance Transgo Shift Kit, Raybestos High-Energy heavy duty clutch sets, 11 5/8" heavy duty / performance torque converter with a carbon fiber clutch, all bearing construction and furnace brazed fins. You can order stall speeds up to 3400 RPM. Plus a deep cast aluminum pan with fins that holds over 3 extra quarts of transmission fluid. The price includes a free PATC Dodge T-shirt and we pay the freight up to $110.00. This means the freight runs from free to $40.00 after freight discount in most cases. Improved thicker valve body accumulator end plate for the 45RFE 99-Up.
