The 45RFE / 545RFE Alto Red Eagle master rebuild kits should be ready by early 2009. This kit will have four Power Packs, overdrive, underdrive, forth and second.
Big things are coming fast in the 45RFE world. We also have a 10 inch billet lock-up torque converter for the 45RFE that can be ordered with up to a 5000 stall speed.

RAM 45
The Ram 45 transmission comes with a high performance Transgo Shift Kit, Raybestos High-Energy heavy duty clutch sets, 11 5/8" heavy duty / performance torque converter with a carbon fiber clutch, all bearing construction and furnace brazed fins. You can order stall speeds up to 3400 RPM. Plus a deep cast aluminum pan with fins that holds over 3 extra quarts of transmission fluid. The price includes a free PATC Dodge T-shirt and we pay the freight up to $110.00. This means the freight runs from free to $140.00 after freight discount in most cases. We will start building this transmission sometime in March with all Alto Red Eagle clutches including four Power Packs. The factory transmission controller has always been a problem with this transmission. There is a aftermarket controller on the market now plus we will have our brand controller coming out sometime about March. All of this is going to make this a very strong transmission.
Fits 2000-up Dodge 4.7L V-8 2WD and 4WD and 2003-up Dodge HEMI 5.7L V-8 2WD and 4WD.

| To determine your tires true diameter in relation to determining what speedometer gears you need, measure from the ground up to the center of the axle then multiply by two. The actual run out of the tire can be as much as 2 to 3 inches less than what the circumference of the tire measures. In effect your tire has two diameters. | To determine your rear end ratio, raise both tires off of the ground, turn both tires at the same time one complete turn, at the same time count the turns of the drive shaft, this is your ratio. |
The short shaft gears are for an electronic speedometer and the long shaft gears are for a cable driven speedometer. This is true most of the time, not always.

Dodge / Jeep 2WD / 4WD Speedometer Gears #12DG. These gears are used with most Jeep and Dodge truck electronic speed sensors for the speedometer. You can increase or decrease the number of teeth depending on tire size to make your speedometer more accurate. The drive gear has 13 teeth and is machined into the output shaft. These are the late model type with a short shaft. Comes in 28 tooth to 43 tooth. Call on others not listed. Cost $89.00

Dodge / Jeep Speedometer Gears Many tire makers build their tires differently, so a 35-inch tire from one company to another may vary as much as a full inch. The short shaft gears are for an electronic speedometer and the long shaft gears are for a cable driven speedometer. This is true most of the time, not always.
